The Wicked Wardrobe

The Wicked Wardrobe is a couple-owned dark-fashion consignment shop at 201 Derby Street in downtown Salem. The racks lean gothic, alternative and strange — cult-brand clothing, vintage finds and the occasional high-end piece — in all sizes and for all genders, and every item is cleaned and pressed before it goes on the floor. Alongside the clothes are witchy and mystical wares from local artisans — handcrafted jewelry, art and accessories — so much of what's here is one of a kind. It is also a sustainable way to shop: pre-loved pieces get a second life, and local consigners earn from their closets (consignment is by appointment). A good Derby Street stop for anyone after a Salem look that didn't come off a costume rack.
