Lanterns in the Woods

The 14th annual Lanterns in the Woods (previously Lanterns in the Village) moves to a new location this year: the woods behind Salem High School, 77 Willson Street, near the lower field and fieldhouse. Stroll a path lit by jack-o-lanterns while listening to spooky stories — flashlights optional. Four 45-minute viewing times each night between 6:30 and 9:30 PM; book your time with your ticket. Fall refreshments, free parking, and it is on the Haunted Happenings shuttle route. Rain or shine. Tickets $15; children 3 and under free. A fundraiser for Collins Middle School — 100% of the proceeds support the students.
